Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe was endorsed on Saturday as the ruling party's candidate in a national election scheduled for 2018.The ruling ZANU-PF party announced its support to Mugabe,also the party's youth wing even proposed that President Mugabe should rule for life with broad powers.
Opposition party has described Mugabe and his loyalist as being out of touch with a desperation of a nation that is suffering massive unemployment,cash shortages and company closures.
Mugabe who is 92 years old,has being in power since 1980,making him one of the longest serving African leaders.

The Igboland

Ever heard of the Igbo land? It is the south-eastern part of Nigeria.The indigenous home of the Igbo people.It is culturally divided into several sub-groups:Anioma,Ngwa,Edda,Egbebu,Ezaa,Ibeku,Ohuhu,Omuna and Ekpeye.The Igbo land is also composed of Abia State,Anambra State,Ebonyi State,Enugu State, Imo State and minor parts of Delta,Rivers and Benue States. The Igbo Settlement dates back to 4500BC with the Northern Igbo Kingdom of Nri being a prove of Igboland's culture,customs and religious practices. The Igboland is part of southern Nigeria protectorate and was amalgamated with the Northern Nigeria protectorate in 1914 by Lord Lugard.

A few months ago,Yemi Alade was crowned the best female artist at the 2016 edition of MTV African Music Award.This beautiful artist appears to be eyeing the Nigerian National Football Team-The Super Eagles as she would definitely sing for them once they qualify for 2018 World Cup in Russia. Her role as 'Mama Africa' revealed her love for Nigerian footballers;John Obi Mikel,Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi.On the international scene,she als admires Christiana Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. She is the shell ambassador for the first African kinetic football pitch and expressed her passion for football while applauding the giant's decision to bring such innovation to Lagos.
